Catch the Mice and Get Advice by Kaspersky

The company which was rated fourth in the IDC rating report Worldwide Endpoint Security Revenue by Vendor, 2013 has come up with a new version which not only detects malicious software and operating system settings that make the device vulnerable, but also offers advice on resolving any issues identified to the end user.

Kaspersky Security Scan dominates the market as one of the fastest cyberthreat remover, now with the new version can also work even if there is another security solution installed on the computer. The company would now attract more users as it latest version is free and is available at http://www.kaspersky.com/free-virus-scan.
The recent survey done by the company in the first quarter of 2015 reveled that nearly one fifth of the devices had no antivirus or was infected with malware and dangerous vulnerabilities, such as blocked system processes, hidden files, etc. With this statistics the Antivirus Giant wanted to indicate that many users today need additional or better protection for their Systems & important data.

Apart from finding threats on the device, the updated Kaspersky Security Scanner also provides important advice on how to eliminate these threats. For example, the scanner may suggest that users need to install dedicated applications to clean an infected file or inspire them to change operating system settings which sometime is a necessary modification we should follow. Complete information about operating System settings is available in the scanner’s main window. The new version also empowers its users to enable regular automatic scans on specific days which are suitable for them.

Vladimir Zapolyansky, Vice-President, Product and Technology Marketing, Kaspersky Lab says, “It is important to remember that although free solutions are undoubtedly useful, they cannot replace Internet Security-class protection, because for a long time now the techniques used by cybercriminals have encompassed more than just malware. The scanner can quickly scan the computer for potential risks when there are no other options, or it can complement an existing antivirus solution to strengthen security. However, in all other cases an integrated, multi-tier security solution should be used on a permanent basis.”
The new Kaspersky Security Scan is already available to users in 11 languages to attract its customers globally. By default, the solution is installed in the device’s language, but now the language setting can be changed as part of the installation process.
